Heartburn
Mix ½ tsp. raw apple cider vinegar with 2 – 3 ounces of good water.
Consume prior to eating a meal and whenever you feel heartburn symptoms coming on. Contrary to public opinion, heartburn is not a problem of too much acidity in the stomach. In addition to the raw apple cider vinegar, take 2 capsules of formula #12 with meals. #12 contains digestive enzymes to help digest the food, as well as herbs to nourish and repair the mucosal lining of the digestive tract.
Common Cold Remedies
When you feel the onset of a cold, immediately gargle with hydrogen peroxide and swab the inside of your nose and ears with hydrogen peroxide. Do this every 30 minutes until you feel the symptoms subside.
To help prevent the common cold, use a Neti Pot every day. Neti Pots are also beneficial to use when you are experiencing allergy symptoms.
It is important to increase your intake of Vitamin D3 when you are feeling under the weather, as this will provide a boost to your immune system. The best source of D3 is from sunshine, however it is important to take care that you don’t stay out in the sun too long and get sunburned. When you are attempting to get your D3 from sunshine, do not wear sunscreen. Sunscreen will block your body from absorbing the sun’s rays and synthesis will not occur.
Dry Skin
When you are plagued with dry skin it is important to realize that you don’t need to reach for Vaseline Intensive Care. You need to reach for healthy oils. Your skin is moisturized from within. If you are consuming raw healthy fats, as coconut oil, flax seed oil, avocados, to name a few, and are not experiencing softer skin, it may be that you are not utilizing the oils you are consuming, or not consuming enough of the fats. If this is the case, you may need to take Formula #8 or Psor-Rbs. These formulas provide the fatty acids your body needs.
You can also apply fats externally. For example, coconut oil, cacao butter and even olive oil are great moisturizers. A great rule of thumb to live by is – if you can’t eat it, you should not put it on your skin. People tend to think of the skin as your body’s barrier to the external world. This is true. However, it is equally true that the skin is an absorbent organ. Anything you put directly on to your skin can be absorbed into your blood stream.
Sleep
Deep sleep is imperative. Your body requires deep REM sleep in order to rejuvenate and repair itself. Many people do not get the sleep they need due to the stressful lives they lead, medications, alcohol or any other assortment of reasons. Many times what happens is the body is in sympathetic dominance; the adrenal glands are stressed and the body is depleted of many nutrients that cause sleep to elude us. In that case, it is helpful to take Formula SLP or Formula #26. Additionally, it is beneficial to supplement with magnesium. Since magnesium is assimilated and utilized easier by the body if applied to the skin, Transdermal Magnesium is an excellent option.
Hydrogen Peroxide for Colds and Flu

Hydrogen Peroxide, readily available at your local pharmacy and very inexpensive, can help you get over your cold of flu more easily and faster. In 1938 German researchers had great success using hydrogen peroxide in dealing with colds and the flu. Their data has been ignored for over 60 years. It is important to begin treatment as soon as symptoms appear.
Use a few drops of f 3% Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and:
- administer it into each ear. The H2O2 starts working within 2 to 3 minutes in killing the flu or cold; there will be some bubbling and in some cases mild stinging occurs.
- Wait until the bubbling & stinging subside (usually 5 to 10 min) then drain onto tissue and repeat other ear.
- as an alternative, you may also dip a cotton swap into hydrogen peroxide and gently wipe the outer ear canal
- dip a cotton swab into H2O2 and gently wipe the inside of each nostril (be careful not to go too deeply into the nostril)
- gargle and rinse your mouth with approximately 1-2 teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide for 10-20 seconds several times; spit out when finished.
